Know what you mean, I was all excited and ready to see what a brother could run. Drivers dumping clutches are the culprits, not the rears. The 8.8s can handle the power. No rears last being repeatedly snapped instantly with all of the power at once. All of our rears would be going if that wasn't the case. IMO, ofcourse.
nah thats right. not just your opinion it's a fact! did this too many times in my 73 mach 1. it was my first car, so i was young driver when i had it. one time i didn't even drop it that hard, but it was a lethal one. blew the rear, and all you seen was smoke in the rear. luckily it was on my block, but i still had to get it towed back to the driveway. i tried to push it, but it wouldn't roll cause the rear locked.
