Well i assumed (bad mistake) the tech dept. new what they were talking about so i ordered them and had them installed and alignment done. $550.50 later I gained nothing!!!! Nothing noticable anyway. I dont think they are taking into consideration the machs lower ride heighth than the GT. And I did express to the companies tech dept that the would be installed on a mach!!! I should have listened to the guy i ordered them from!! He must have heard this problem before! You can see pics in photo gallery and see if u think it looks any lower than stock! Keep in mind it has 18 in wheels!! Hope this helps!!!!
As it turns out, a dude I know with a Mach actually has em. I took a look at his car for the 1st time in a while and there was not a huge drop, but noticeable...which is all I'm going for. From the pics, it looks to be about an inch drop. Not alot, but all of the gaps, including the pics w/ stock isos are a little tighter than on my stock suspension. I'd be willing to bet that all of our cars don't exactly settle the same way with similar springs installed. Has your car settled itself a little lower since the install? Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

It might have settled a little. Side by side with my buddies mach we can only tell a slight difference. The 18 in wheels help fill the gap some. I kind of wish i woul have went with the Sportline series.

I would go for H&R Super Sports or the Sportlines. The Sportlines will be a bit lower than the H&R's.

On the Mach registry there was a poll and the Super Sports were the most popular spring. That is what I run right now. Eventually I will go coil-over I think but I love these for now.

With the sportlines or the super sports, is it necessary to have the cc plates?

Nikbait, I don't have either, but since noone else chimed in I thought I would. From other's comments I've read, the general answer to your question is "yes".

RYGI would be correct, when lowering our cars that low with those springs it throws off the geometery of the front suspension. you guys should read the article on suspension and how to set it up, i believe its a sticky now.

EDIT: here is the link, read up, its very good stuff.

+1 CC plates should be used.

If you need to wait after getting springs for a little bit that is fine but I wouldn't just do springs and be done with it. The CC plates will allow for proper alignment as well as a more performance oriented alignment.

Ok, so what are the best ccp's to use, and are they something that I should take to a shop to have done?

I am a big fan of Maximum Motorsports stuff. There CC plates are very nice.

You can install them yourself but you have to bring it somewhere to get aligned after.

Ok, now how hard are they to install? I've heard good things about MM.
