miss firing

Default miss firing

im having a problem with miss firing i have a 2003 mach1 and it keeps wanting to miss fire i changed the plugs all the coil packs are fine after i changed the plugs it ran fine for about a day and wanted to miss fire agian i dunno if it is a header gaskets or what any suggestions cause every time i mess with the plugs it runs fine then messes up

Sure the wires aren't arcing on anything right?

yea im sure i checked that out...now that i changed the plugs and everything when i turn the car off it sounds like there is a winding down noise from the lifters or something not positive

Damn, that's a new one. Really haven't the slightest. One other check would be to reinstall the factory tune and see what happens.

I'm having the same problem with mine soem days it will run great and some days it will just run lick crap and every time run it hard it just sputters out any one got any idea's?

where are you at in alabama? i might be able to give a first hand opinion.
I am not entirely sure i understand the problem you guys are having
Is it a ticking noise?

missfire's are often plugs are not gapped right, arching as said before, bad coil packs, wires in the wrong spot (ie 4&6 swapped or something stupid like that)...basically what i am getting at is a missfire is an electrical issue not really a mechanical issue to start out anyways.
