LT headers or SLP catback??
I am about to oder my exhaust and not sure what to order first. I want MAC LT Headers and off road X-pipe but the I like the sound of the SLP LM1s catback so I want to know your opinion on what to get. I will be getting shorty xpipe for the longtubes no matter what. so what do you guys think.. longtubes or catback

You're bound to get differenct opinions on this one. I'm with 01snake, get the LTs out of the way 1st. Thier gains beat the gain from both the X and midpipe put together. It's a much larger one-time cost so just get it out of the way. Allow a good chunk of change if you're paying a shop to do the install, VERY pricey. O/R midpipe + LM1s = very raspy loudness, abnoxious to some....from experience. I'd advise going with cats with the LM1s or o/r with LM2s...to each his own though, ofcourse. Going full exhaust with LTs causes a slight loss of low-end punch so go with a step up in gears when you can. Good luck.

I think I will do the longtubes and offroad xpipe. I have a friend at my local autoshop only going to charge me $80 to put on the full exhaust. I would like to do 4:10 gears but I drive 90 miles aday and think 4:10s will kill my gas mileage.

I am a firm beliver in starting from the rear of the exhaust and working your way towards the engine. This way, you're always freeing up HP instead of restricting it. Think about it, if you do longtubes, you still have to have a mid-pipe, and your stock cat-back is still going to be a major restriction. JMO.
On another note, if you don't go with LTs first, check out the SLP catted mid-pipe. The SLPs are modular, so you can simply remove the cats and add LTs, instead of having to buy a short mid pipe. It basically allows you to do a manifold back exhaust and add LTs to it later without spending the extra money.

$80 to lift the motor and all that, damn! The biggest dyno proven gain I've seen from a catback is the SLP straight throughs (8 hp) so the stock one won't hurt much till ya get one. I have a track buddy that has only the o/r H, I'll tell ya the stock muffs sound pretty good w/o those restrictive four cats. The 4.10s and mpg, from what I've heard 4.10s drop about 3mpg if strictly on the highway and sometimes none at all in town.

I personally would go with the LT's and the midpipe just to go on and get it out the way. That right there would most likely be your biggest gain and give the car a better sound than stock. Then get the catback after you get your pennies saved up from that.
