What size are our stock speakers?

Will any of the stock locations easily accept a larger speaker without modification?

I've seen conflicting answers everywhere else, so I figured I'd ask the guys who own Mach 1s themselves.

5x7/6x8 fits best, you can get a 6 1/2 in there but you may have to do a little trimming

 

So we have 4 6x8"s?

Also, are the 2 tweeterss 2.5"?

I have a 2009 V6 convertible with the Shaker 500. I supposedly have 8 speakers but I can only see 6 speaker grills. Where are the 8 speakers located?
