Essentially it has a built in conservative tune, but with a wideband you could fine tune it for better gains. You can use it when you upgrade parts like exhaust and gears. You can create as many tunes for the car as you want and not have to pay for each one (as with other tuners). It comes with 2 tunes (so you could tune your car and another ford between 96-04 I believe). You can data log and analyze the data (it gives you a lot of info). There is suppose to be an update at some point that will allow you to do a "dyno" run on the street or at the track (giving you hp/tq)

Maybe he is talking about getting a tune to remove the CEL light? The LT and O/R mid pipe take away 2 O2 sensors which will cause you to pull some codes. But there is no need to get a tune for it to run correctly.

Gt, you don't have to have it, but its a good idea, especially if you want to maximize your gains. Just slapping them on helps a good bit, but they don't gain nearly as much as they do with a tune.

i did some\looking, but still haven't found if lt's require a tune...most are saying no(which in my limited experience with efi crap is true) but like stone says it neds it to maximize gains
