Default new clutch time

ok so here is the deal i kinda burnt out my spec stage 1 at the track this last weekend and now need a new one. i can still drive my car right now but its def on its death bed. now i have narrowed it down to two choices. the ceterforce dual friction clutch or the spec stage 2+ both will be more than what i need and should hold my power levels for a very long time. i found a deal on the centerforce that a guy is selling i can get it for 280 plus shipping i can get the stage 2+ spec from american muscle for around 350. what would you guys go with and why. or tell me another one and where i can get it open to suggestions.

Holy crap you're making me regret getting the spec stage 1. I don't have any experience with either but I've heard good about both. I have heard that the spec stage 3 is a little softer and easier to drive than the 2-2+ but I don't know for sure. Here's a link http://www.lmperformance.com/19081/50.html you'll have to copy and paste it. It's a little cheaper. Just an idea

I've heard the FRPP 03-04 cobra clutch kit is direct bolt-on to the mach and has the best feel.

How long do our stock clutches last usually? I'm wondering if mine's starting to wear out because it's getting a bit harder to shift smoothly, like it's not grabbing like it used to.

I went with a SPEC stage 2+ with low pedal option, and the thing is a dream! Very little pedal effort, but hooks like crazy!

see thats the problem i LOVE the feel of my spec and how short it is and everything but it would be quite a bit more to get the spec than the centerforce. is it worth the extra in your opinion?

Yes, to me it was worth it, even though I was coming off a couple of years of having a Stage 1, which in my opinion is the worst POS SPEC sells! I've talked with several people who have gone for the Centerforce, and while they won't flat out bad mouth it, they all say they wish they had gone with a different setup, because they weren't happy with the final results.
