Default Intake spacer question again

Im sorry if this question has been asked repeatedly, but i just want to know if the intake space actually does something and worth getting. I would aslo like to hear from the people, who has an intake spacer, how do they feel about it. Also would like to see if anyone got any dyno results.

the intake spacer allow fuel to atomize and mix with the O2 better, also allow for an overall gain in the tq curve (very important). Don't look at peak increase b/c that isn't what this mod is for. it is to help flatten out the tq curve and more power through out the band.
that's the basic run down.

Maybe with a carburetor or TBI application but it doesn't do squat to "atomize the mix" with a port injected EFI setup. What the intake spacer does is effectively increase intake runner length and volume, which does flatten the torque curve and shifts peak torque slightly lower in the RPM band. From what I've seen it really doesn't do much for numbers but it does a decent job of shifting peak torque lower. It works well for the Mach 4v's because of their intake cams are already setup for more torque than other 4v applications.

I've got one and It is a noticeable difference through the hi rpm range.. Like those guys said, it's not giving any big numbers. It's worth the money because it's cheap and you do notice a difference, especially if you drive her hard (which I kinda do)... There is a lil glitch to it though.. When you are coming to a fast stop from a high rpm the car tends to wanna stall out.. Somebody else had posted something about it a few months back, and I had the same problem, but once I bought my Sniper tuner and tuned the car it stopped doing that.. Not sure why, but I was happy to say the least!! Good Luck.. I'd still buy it even after having that lil glitch (if you even get it)

They are not that exspensive and it does make a little difference and a little is better than nothing right?

well ya $100 sounds awesome from what u guys said about the performance it does. Money is a factor though lol, took me a while to save up for LTs and dyno tune with it. Im going to put them on myself. Dont want to spend the extra money for some guying putting them in, if i can do it myself.
