Default Got her dynoed today.

It was a mustang dyno, un-tuned with an o/r x, flo's and a C&L CAI it put down 276hp, and 293 tq. They said it was corrected to equal what a dynojet would have put out. Then they tuned it with sniper software, and they got 293 hp and 303 tq. I was pretty happy. And any future mods i do, they will tune it for free. Any suggestions on what the next mods should be?

intake spacer and T/B probably. i would try taking some weight off of the drivetrain, Fidanza lightweight flywheel and a FRPP aluminum driveshaft.

Peak hp came in at 6100, and torque was at 4250.

I agree with this, taking weight off the drivetrain is an all around win, less weight in the car and more usable power, that and it should help extend the life of the engine/tranny

Typical dynojet on stock Machs are low to high 270s so it seems maybe a little low but they vary so much and all that matters is the improvement. Kinda like a fat lady on a diet using the same scale even if it's off. Solid #s though man. Leaving the dyno happy is a good feeling. 4.10s/4.30s or a Triax/MGW shifter next if ya haven't got em yet.

They'll do it for free from now on? Damn I wonder if my local shop does that too. That'd be awesome instead of having to spend like $300 or whatever it costs for a tune.

Yeah, they said pretty much anything else i do to it, minus supercharger or something along those lines, it would be free. It was 3 hundred for them to tune it. I think i got 6-7 pulls, and about an hour. That was buying their software included. I really think the flomasters are hurting the power on it too. I swear when i put them on, original series 40's 2 chamber, 2.5 inlet/outlet, it bogged it down some. I'm wantin to break 300 bad! I beat all the s-197 cars that were there. They were modded more than me, i was proud of the Mach!!!! There was a stock 08-09 shelby gt there, 5 speed, it put down 275 hp. Here is a vid of mine running.

That's one helluva nice dyno shop. Flows don't set a car on fire, but feeling that the they bogged ya down is prolly a mental thing. Real dyno gains from a chambered muff are 4 or 5 hp. I recommended the gears or shifter for next mods but sounds like your itching for the 300 rwhp mark. You're 7 hp away. I'd say an intake spacer could do it for ya. Can't remember his name, but there's a dude on the forums that makes and sells them. Running full synthetic fluids, including the tranny and rear end, also frees up a few.Trying to think of the small inexpensive stuff for ya.
