the pre-programed tunes don't do enough to feel IMO. Advertised gain with a Diablo is 10hp so it's prolly more like 5 hp. Their parameter adjustabilities are similar. It's best to see which brand your local dyno joint prefers to use and get that one. I have the Diablo and wish I'd gotten an SCT because it's more compact and more shops use it around here. Just depends on the area.

Get whatever your local tuner uses.

SCT has ability to store more than 1 custom tune... that in itself is a plus, and its display is a little more user (dummy) friendly.

I have Diablo, wish i would have gone SCT but the price difference is significant.

Get a SCT xcal 3 from brenspeed along with their email tune. That will get you a good amount of power until you go get a dyno tune. The canned tunes on each unit pretty much give you nothing.

Between the two, I would go SCT. But if you what one step more and wish to do different tunes, etc., Check out Sniper.

This performs very well on the 99-04 Stangs! We have many Happy MF members using it.

You can check it out Here
