i've had the beams screw me over a few times, but normally they're pretty good

If I remember correctly there a 3 beams you break at the end of the 1/4 mile. 1st beam starts the MPH calculation, 2nd beam is E.T. and the 3rd is the end for MPH. Looking at the time slip he made it to the 2nd beam first by .013. Now the last beam you should of been ahead of him a car or 2. Other than that you could of been bumped by a track favorite and that would be lame if that had happened.

Nope, two beams. At both 1/8 and 1/4 mi., first beam starts MPH counter second beam ends MPH counter and registers ET. Beat him by a good 20' so I was 1st to both. The track favorite thing is possible, but not likely. I'm gonna hollar at the dude I raced tomorrow, weather permitting.
