I will be buying an 04 Mach 1 on Tuesday and the first thing I want to buy for it is an exhaust. I cant find a video of a Mach with Corsa mufflers on it or even an edge gt with them for that matter. If anybody has them please tell me what you think. I will be buying either Corsa db mufflers and welding them in, since it already has a Flowmaster cat-back, or getting the Borla stingers, which do you prefer?

 

I prefer the Stinger CB, that's what I have and love it. You not going to find many new edge guys with corsa exhaust because they don't make a CB. Corsa is very popular among the LSx crowd and s197 guys.

 

Yeah iv been looking on their site and I wonder why they wouldn't make one for the edge mustangs? It has Flowmaster on it already but that's what I had on my last stang and it only sounded good when you were wot. Otherwise it was trumpeting or sounded like a bunch of metal clanging around...

 

Have you looked into bassani? They make a great CB that sound amazing!

 

one of the guys in the club I'm with has a Mach 1 with Corsas and IMHO, they sound too exotic. Go with the Stinger's, they always sound nice and don't go with flows, because they are way too overplayed. Whatever you do, please post up vids so we can hear it!

 

Ok I will. I have checked into Basani and that's what I wanted for a while but I like the wide open sound a little more. My dad has a lightning that has Magnaflow on it(which I heard is pretty much the same as Bassani) and it is a little mellow...

 

Listen at the 3 min mark. Does a 3v sound different than a 4v or is the cobra a 4v i cant remember...

You won't regret the decision to go with the Borla Stinger CB, and I think it sounds the best of all the different exhausts available for the Mach 1.

 

SSS is the way to go!

 

I'd put corsa's on mine if I could get ahold of them for a decent price. Their stuff is very expensive though. I like the way they designed the inside of those mufflers.
