Default dynojet #'s

Went to get a dyno tune yesturday.. The outcomes kinda suprised me.. My baseline dyno was 303hp/310tq.. which i thought was high. but then after my tune it only went up to 308hp/322tq. maybe this is normal but i thought it would have gone up more then that.. It was on a dynojet. and i used an sct x3 tuner. my mods are full slp exhaust and an k@n intake.

Actually, that's pretty impressive for nothing more than an intake/exhaust/tune on an 03 Mach 1!

You never know what you're gonna get on a dynojet. Any mustang dynos in your area? Even then, they have to correctly calibrate your car weight for accurate numbers. I need to bring mine to a local dynojet soon and see what she does.

My buddy had his 03 Mach 1 dynoed on a dynojet a while back. It was bone stock with 8000 miles, and he pulled 272 rwhp...don't remember torque though.

I've been on and around enough dynojet dynos to know that there is alot of variance between them.

I can appreciate where you're coming from as dyno tunes are sometimes way expensive. Posts like yours, and many others I've read, let me know that tunes are more necessary with the more radical mods. Congrats on being in the 300rwhp club!

Yeah, those are definitely nice numbers. I would be very happy with them. Are they corrected or STD?
