Default Suspension mod questions..

Hello world,
I'm a new owner of a mach 1 and new to the forum. I've read and asked around but I wanted to get to the bottom of this. I'm looking into lowering my car, however I still wanted an Oem feel to it. I've seen many people use eibach/h&r or cut springs. I notice our vendors have a few different options like steeda and such. Which route do you think is best like OEM quality? I'm looking to lower anywhere from 1"-1.5", not going for a slammed look. This is my daily driver by the way. By no means, will it ever be on a track. Maybe spirited driving..
Thanks MF, all help is appreciated

I've read somewhere in this forum where he put foxbody springs on his GT and it works, is it true? Sorry for the noob questions. Are there any other Oem springs that would lower the mach?

Another idea that may help me and others is post pics! I'm a picture fanatic. And list of suspension mods.

i would definitally go with the steeda. the steeda lowers it about 1.25in all around and i think the eibach and h and rs lower it between 1.5-1.75..i have a friend with a cobra with steeeda and it is perfect..looks good, alot better steering and it doesnt slam bumps.

Pics are with Eibach ProKits WITHOUT ISOLATORS (less drop with them in). You won't go wrong with Steeda or H&R Supersports. Have heard of a few people doing that spring switch but they also cut the springs which most are wary of. Whatever you do, do it right. You'll also need CC plates.

Question about isolators, are they recommended? Don't they absorb vibration and maybe deaden noise?

Yes they are recommended for those reasons. Just happened my springs don't drop much w/o them, which is why I suggested the ones I did as they drop to the same level with isolators.

I have just about finished compiling TONS of info on suspension mods and is a sticky in the 4.6 (Modular) section.
