Default SLP or Borla?

ok Im about done with the weld in flows the previous owner had installed on my Mach. I think im down to 2 these 2 brands of cat backs.. I dont want one thats so loud I can hear myself think or hear the radio. But I do want loud.. I like the 4" tips on the Borla. But the SLPs are $100.00 cheaper. Also if I go with the SLPs, are the loudmouth IIs to loud or should I get the powerflo's?? Any thoughts??

Check out SSS Exhaust. I believe you can pick one up for around $370. They are very similar to Borla in terms of quality and fitment, but much less expensive. They have 2 mufflers. The Adrenaline's (sound very similar to Borla Stingers) have a deep smooth tone that's mellow at part throttle, and screams at WOT. The Terminator's have a very similar tone, but are VERY loud all the time.

It's all 304 mirror polished stainless steel just like Borla.

I have SLP LMIIs on mine. The are definitely NOT too loud. When your cruising in 5th, you can barely even hear them. When you get on it, or when you're going through the gears, it sounds really good and can easily be made loud as hell or quiet just depending on your right foot. I put up a vid on the last page of the exhaust notes sticky above. It'll give you an idea of what it sounds like cruising on the highway, as well as hammering it. I've had flows on mine too, and personally I love these ten times better.

The stingers sound great catted or not and imo smooth when you want them to be but harsh when you let it rip. What I have heard, just from youtube lol, the SLP's sound too raspy. And just for fun, here is a vid of some borlas with an offrad mid-pipe and headers that I think sounds badass.
