I believe the listing is wrong as the 4.6L is a V8, not a 6. It is a 2004 and could be a Mach 1, it has the stripes, the dual exhaust, manual trans., and the shaker scoop.
If it's a V8- I'm not terribly bothered by it. Besides, it was one of Ford's bad ideas to name a stereo system after a beloved edition- the Mach 1. I mean, Shaker still sounds sort of dorky, but at least it's different.

Oh, its a Mach. The C-Pillars always give it away
It bothers me too, OP. That Mach 1 is NOT a GT. I can't stand when people mix the two. The other thing that bothers me about this listing is their asking price. That dealer is on crack if he thinks a Mach with 66k miles on it is worth nearly $18k. He needs to come down at least $5k to be in the ballpark.

But doesn't it seem like most dealers don't know ****???? I went in to a local dealership and they thought my car was a Cobra! Once again, if they think it was then thats the price their gonna pay hahah

"Just for the sake of what a Mach 1 really is and also for the sake of you're sale, I would like to clear some things up about this car. First, its not a "GT" its a Mach 1, almost everything about this cars drivetrain and suspension is unique from a GT's components. Second, its a 4.6l DOHC 32valve V8, not a 4.6l V6(there is no such engine). Good luck with the sale! I cant imagine anyone taking you seriously if your going to call this limited production specialty mustang a V6. Please dont take this personaly, just trying to help."
-Got owned, he wont reply I bet...
