so my friend blew his heads on his 03 gt and the motor has like 148xxx miles on it.....

he wants some advice on how to go about building (i.e parts internally, heads, and stuff like that) just looking for a good combo any advice would be greatly appreciated.... ohh yea and his limit of spending would be 7500... please note that he knows that he can buy a new crate motor but he'd rather build and have more power... thanks in advance

I'm no motor combo expert, but what are the goals of the car? There are a bunch of different combos to run, but the cost would be a limiting factor. Could get a used 2V and get better heads/cams....can do what USMC suggested....rebuild the oringal motor and throw some giggle juice to it....try to find a termi motor and throw that in....find a Mach 1 4v and throw that in.
