Default Potentially Restoring an '04 Mach 1

I hate to say it but I may be purchasing a beat up '04 Mach 1 (Azure Blue)

The chin spoiler is bent which will need to be replaced along with the headlights, and possibly the right front wheel.

Also looking at buying a new rear bumper and left rear quarter panel (over the tire).

The rear bumper on the Mach has plate bumps from fender benders I guess.. So I'll need to replace the back bumper with the engraved Mustang logo. Does anyone know where I can find the Rear bumper with the engraved Mustang word?

Also with the left rear quarter panel.. Previous jackass owner seemed to have trouble with people so had it keyed (scratched) quite deep..which means I have to replace the whole thing. Looking for that piece as well..if anyone could point me in the right direction?

I appreciate your time MustangForums.

Hate to say it!? You should be proud that you're buying a Mach, boss! And latemodel restoration would be a good place to start. If you're gonna replace the rear bumper cover I would just go with an OEM termie bumper while you're at it. And some smoked OE headlights would also be a nice touch. Either way latemod should have just about everything you're looking for with maybe the exception of the wheel

why don't you just sand/paint the quarter panel?
maybe some body filler if you have to..

Hate to say it???? The best car is the one you can make your own. U shoulda seen my first stang ('89 GT conv.), much worse than what you're describing. +1 on the Latemodelrestorationsupply. Where in MD? I'm on Cobb Island.

EDIT: by the way, welcome to our Mach forum ;o)

Thanks for the tips! I am from Frederick, MD. Yeah I am purchasing the Mach 1 today. I am so excited about it. I only said "hate to say it", because the car should have been taken care of better! I cannot stop thinking about the car!! The bug hit me lol!

Yeah looking at probably having to replace one of the wheels. (one seems to be bent)
I'll get a picture of it on here..
later when I'm not driving!

Well it isn't in that bad of shape.. Has a few paint scratches on the bumper.
A few by the antenna and have been able to take away most of the scratches otherwise. The car looks good.
