Default first post, need help

First post guys but i have been reading for a while. I need some help on which clutch to install. I was just about to buy a spec stage 3 and all of the sudden i start hearing all of these horror stories about spec. So i just wanted to pic all of your brains and see what you all thought and what results that you all had with your clutch. Any suggestions would be great.

Not surprising you haven't gotten a reply, with proper driving the stock clutch holds up and performs really well, that is without huge amount of torque being added to the powertrain. It's not one the more common changes done so you'll get alot less feedback than you would other changes. I actually heard alot of good feedback on Spec stage 2 and 2+ clutch so I bought the 2+ (w/ a new throw out bearing) just incase the stocker ever goes. The stage three, from what I've read/heard requires more effort and isn't very friendly on the street, you're either in or out of gear, very little give. I think you'll find that the make of clutch is personal preference. Spec, Centerforce, Ram, etc. are all good ones but some will like each better than the other and vice versa. That's been my experience.

Your right The stock clutch has held up well! I have a 150 shot on it and it still held up for a while. Thats the reason I thought about getting the stage 3 but it just seems like alot of people have had some problems with the 3 so I wanted some feedback. I will look into the 2+ like you have and thanks
