Default WideBand HELP!

Ok, was wondering if anyone could help me out! I installed a new Wideband AFR Autometer 7178 guage in my 04mach 1. welded o2 bung in, ran wires, grounded, powered, ran wire to TPS sensor, guage works, but after I installed, now it idles WAAAY to high and wont come down as well as when you drive it and in anygear it wont idle down with or without clutch in! It just stays around 3500 until you apply brakes and come to stop then it goes down to 1500 and is suppose to idle at 6-800. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

Thanks

check your power and grounds. you installing this caused this problem. why does it need a tps signal??? where did you ground it. I would start my removing the signal wire fromt he tps and see what happens if it goes away and ill bet it will then hook that back up and remove the power wire and see if it ok then my guess is that it is tricking the computer into idleing high due to loss of TPS signal, just a guess though.

^+1 That wire you connected to the TPS is suppose to go to an optional WOT switch, like you'd have with a nitrous setup.
