That's actually really funny that I saw this post. I saw it said "St. Louis" and I figured I'd take a look since that's where I live. After looking at the post, I realized I actually went to look at that car since I'm in the market for a Mach at the moment. Small world, right?
Beautiful Mach though. Just a bit pricey for the miles, but what can you expect from a dealer?
Lol! What a coincidence, gotta admit just the thought of someone else driving that car makes me jealous.
and is that "cigarette lighter" for a cigarette lighter or is it somethinf else because mine doesnt work and i see little inserts in some peoples cars. it is by the gear shift. sorry if they are dumb questions. thanks.
i would say 15k is a little high. i bought my 04 mach 1 for 13,800 and it had 45,000 miles. super clean.
one question, did all machs have the mach 1 plaque by the gearshift?
Because of the idiocracy that surrounds car purchasing nowadays, a person can have a car that is spotless as the day it came off the dealer lot but because its got 80k miles KBB sayd it isnt worth a ****. Im willing to bet that the 45k mile mach you purchased isnt cleaner or in better shape than the 90k mile mach1 I sold, I know because my car was spotless inside and out and at 90k miles (supercharged since 70k miles) the compression on the motor was perfect in every single cylinder and didnt burn one drop of oil or coolant. It started each and every day without a hiccup and made 80 mile a day trips to work for the 4 years I had it without missing a beat.
Saying that whoever buys it doesnt haggle the price and pays the 16k that dealer is asking for it, that means that person paid $2200 more than you did. Say you decide to throw some 4.10 gears, a midpipe and catback, and intake and a tune on your mach, your $13800 investment just surpassed the $16k mark so you technically paid more for your car than the guy who bought mine. Yet whoever bought mine also got Kooks LT headers, supercharger, 18in wheels with new tires and adjustable suspension all the way around along other things.
No, that plaque doesn't come on mach1s.

Its an outlet which you can use for a phone charger or a radar. Mine didn't work either, Im guessing you have to ask the dealer to connect it when you buy the car new.

i am the king of buying and holding on to cars. trust me, i hear you on that. i am 21, have 11, including my very first car and i plan to keep every one i come along. my mach 1 was also taken care of by a guy like you and has mods done to it already, so it was a better deal for me at the time. thanks for the info
He said he had 11 cars... he didn't say he had 11 running, driving, insured cars that are complete. Technically I have 6 cars and I am 22... BUT only 3 of them are actually registered and insured. I wouldn't call BS on him.
