Default My mach build.

Since i paid it off a few months ago i decided to throw some money at it. The timing set (chains, tensioners or all) is wore out so i will be replacing that. While i am in there its getting either comp XE262AH-114 (106100) cams, set on a 106/110 lobe center. Or some custom cams, I haven't decided yet. The 106100 cams don't require springs, custom bigger ones will. So i'll have to factor in the price difference and weigh the benefits vs costs on that. Its getting 32 new lash adjusters as well, i'm just hoping none of the followers are bad. Its got the head tick, so the heads are coming off and they are getting the guides and seals replaced, performance valve job, decked and ported. The "head cooling mod" is going on too. I've been doing lots of research on the intake, just ported vs. ported short runner, and the concensus is a full length fully ported intake is the way to go on a street car, so thats what its getting. I'm hoping for close to 380-400ish dynojet hp. Also, i said F the bassani mid lengths i had and decided to get these. 1-3/4 stepped to 1-7/8 with 3 inch x-pipe.

While i was at it, i picked up this stuff as well.

Go with the 106100s installed at 106/110. With those, ported heads and intake and I don't see how you'll have a problem hitting your power goal.

I figured you talked to NA SVT since you said you'd install the 106100s at 106/110. If I was you I would listen to what he says. He's an extremely intelligent person. If he says keep the stock length then I would keep the stock length.

Good luck with your build!

Yeah i was a bit confused as to why to use the stock length. I figured a 9 or 10 inch runner would have picked up some hp up top. But, i don't know jack about this stuff, so i'm just gonna go with the advice i got from the ppl that do! lol
