Default mach 1 torque converter

does a Mach 1's converter have a different stall than an 04 GTs converter? i can get one for like $100 and was wondering if it would be worth it.

ok. fond ot the Mach converter stal is 2100 and the GT's stall is 1600, but now the qeustion is will it work?

Yes it will -- whether it's worth the work of swapping it in is up to you.

Not worth it. Stock convertor sucks IMO. I cant wait to get a new trans and convertor.

Yea you dont want to waste your time with a stock convertor. After my eaton swap I'm buying a built trans and a convertor.

I've got 305's out back around I can only footbrake a little over 1500 before they want to spin. Maybe 1700 tops
