Nice car and good luck with that GTO hunt. Those cars are quite quick even bone stock!

Why did you switch? And I hope you got the 6spd goat. Boy those auto are sluggish, worse than new edge autos.

of course I got a 6 spd....

time for a change. the mach was my second mustang. i want to own a cammed or FI car someday and that wasn't going to happen with the Mach....$1200 for just cams, no thanks.

I really like the mustangs, don't get me wrong. just like how the GTO's ride comfort wise and the interior seems to be built more solid. also the wife can drive it with the hydraulic clutch and not my cable in the stang.

After driving these two autos for a bit(a year) i would have to disagree with that. You cant put down the power the same way you can in the manual but it was far from sluggish IMO of course. But the 6sp is a better choice with these unless you have a bad leg and your wife cant drive a manual. ;-)

Rockwell, it's funny, you've owned almost the same cars I have:

93 Tbird V6
94 Tbird V8
95 Mark 8
04 GT
03 Mach
soon to be 04 GTO lol
