Default Mah 4.2 Build!

Well first off... What would a resurrection thread be without damage pics???

I was driving down Rte. 13 (going the speed limit for once) and BANG! Smoke, oil, fire... I pull over and see that there is a hole in the bottom of my oil pan, great! Car gets towed to the casa and pushed onto a cement foundation out back. That's when I realize my true dilemma: I have NO tools, NO cover, NO time before Winter. I mean, I didn't even have a jack or jackstands for cryin' out loud.

Here's the monstrous hole in the pan...

That dastardly rod!

Coolant/Oil mixture In the passenger side head

All that's left in my car now. Waiting until the block arrives before I rent the crane.

I've decided to buy a used 4.2l core from a shop online that will be here within a week. When it arrives I'm going to...
-Re-hone cylinders
-Re-ring pistons
-Re-bearing crank, rods, and cam

So far I've already...
-Re-built cylinder heads with new valve stem seals
-Re-lapped valve seats
-Cleaned and conditioned Upper and Lower intake manifolds to be ported soon
-Deleted A/C because I've used it maybe twice since I bought the car.

I'll post pictures later of the rebuilt top-end of the motor
