I saw that too...i would think to use our unoffical name N.E.M.A. and make it official...plus this name has New England in it...with Massachusetts as a name, people may think it's only for MA

 

I agree. If we register it at all, it should be with the NEMA name. (lord knows I've tried multiple times to get the admins at MF to broaden the chapter name to NE vs Massachusetts, and haven't even gotten any responses to the queries)

 

I'd say go ahead and do it Paul. I looked at some of the other "Clubs" and they look very fabricated. Like just a few guys who know each other and made a name up. No website or forum or anything. At least you can give the link to this forum and there's history of club events. It may get us some more members on the cruises by listing in the events section.

 

Rashad and Paul, what date were you guys thinking of having the summer cruse this year?

 

I think the last date discussed was the second or third Sunday in May.

I'll confer with Rashad, and get the cruise thread updated with more detail (we're actually getting close (~2 months out)...

 

it really is getting close haha...i'd say plan for the 5th (first sunday in may like always) and if it happens to be poop weather, the 12th

 

Cinco De Mayo is probably not going to be the best if Colt is still the intended destination.

 

Yea that could be a little nuts. Also that weekend will forever suck so lets go for the 12th.

 

i think i did this last year too lol...i never think of cinco de mayo, and i don't know why...12 and 19(if 12 is a crap day)

 

Hopefully you guys will be doing something around the last week of July or first week in August... I will be up there and would enjoy meeting some of you Mass MF'ers! Talked to my Mom today who still lives in Lunenburg, just north of Worcester and they got another 21" of snow this last storm... I was just up there in Feb for 2 weeks and saw more than my share of that white stuff!!!
