Finally the head unit came in. and to my surprise was one of the new black head units :-D I got a steal, $1300 brand new black Vortech V3 with 1 year warranty. It was still packaged in the same box unopened from Vortech themselves.

Just a little thing, but I finally managed to replace my favorite Mustang cap 
The previous one met it's demise shortly after this pic:
Took my Fiancee and her grandson to a petting zoo/educational farm place outside KC last summer, and I gave up my cap because it was about a million degrees out without a cloud in sight, and I didn't want the little tyke getting his brains roasted.
Unfortunately as we were leaving, he decided to toss it in the duck pond, which from the color of the liquid therein was about equal parts duck waste and water. Anyhow after that I didn't really want the cap back and have been hunting for months for that exact design (which is several years old and presumably "out of print" )
Snagged one on eBay a few minutes ago, I guess persistence works
