Check out my flames

Check out my flames (better pics added)
Hey everyone, I've been debating whether or not to put any sort of stripes or whatnot on my new '09 GT. I had tried a Boss style kit a few weeks back, but didn't like the sides, so I pulled it all off. The nonconformist in me doesn't really want the usual stripes (although they look great ).
I tried a new experiment today. These are "ghost flames" made from frosted vinyl that allows some of the color behind it to come through. They are a bit more silver-looking than I was expecting when blasted with direct sunlight, but otherwise they have a darkish tint to them. Install took about 2 hours being very careful and positioning the flames meticulously.
The car is a work in progress, so nowhere near finished exterior-wise. I'll be doing black wheels, aluminum rear louvers, some sort of chin spoiler, Shaker hood, maybe some smoked foglight covers, tint, etc. I am shooting for a pseudo-retro/vader/semi-evil theme I think. Anyhow, here are a few pics.
EDIT - Took some new pics today

Thanks guys, I was hoping the flames would be a bit more subtle than they are, but I still really like them. Its a weekend toy for me, so I figured I might as well do something out of the ordinary on it. I think I'm going to get one of the custom painted grille emblems from Southern Mustang Parts, and have them add some silvery ghost flames to this pony design:
