Galpin has done it a couple times for the benefit of a local girl scout troop. They'll probably do it again next year. Supposedly they've done some type of benefit for the last 30 years. They had free food, raffle prizes (full synthetic oils, oil changes, car detail stuff, etc), a sale on gear - piloti shoes were 40% off (could resist the shoes) and of course girl scout cookies (could resist those either).

The embroidery on the seats in the Mystery Machine was amazing. Each seat was a place holder for a character, just like the cartoon and the stitching of each character into the seat was crazy, whoever did it spent a serious amount of time getting it perfect. Found myself staring at the car for awhile because you'd find some new detail after you were impressed with the last piece of detail.

Just wish GAS had normal prices for custom work . . .
