Finally! Few pix of the Cherry Bomb now that its fixed!
06 Mustang GT Premium, Shaker 1000, Grantelli CAI, Roush u/d pullies. More mods to come this winter.
And that's my beloved Nyghtmare next to her.
Here's a before pic - this one is taken on the salvage lot/auction yard.
Does something for the soul, to see her all repaired and cleaned up, doesn't it? :->
That's the Cherry Bomb on the left, and my big butt in the blue sleeveless shirt, wiping down the car.
The Nyghtmare and my husband's 69 Coupe. Said husband is the guy in the khaki shorts and Reeboks. The red Chevy next to HIS car is a restoration job my brother did for the guy in the red t-shirt standing to my husband's left.
And a friend has provided a couple more pix....

5 Mustangs, actually LOL
Between my husband and I, we have 5. Two are resto jobs, a 70 and 71 coupe, sitting at my brother's body shop, then husband has a 69 coupe, and I've got the 91 and 06. It's hard to let them go when he brings them home to flip them - he sees cars as an investment, something to clean up, restore or mod, sell, make $$$ on. I see them as blank canvasses and something to keep and enjoy for a long time. LOL
Anyway! Thanks for the compliments and props - We've finally gotten Her ALMOST to like new condition as far as appearance and performance. She'll always have a few battle scars - they had to SLOT the pass side strut tower to pull her into alignment - and that was AFTER we worked the frame over all we could without tearing her apart. Sheesh. I'll probably never be able to lower her, but that's okay. I can live without it if I have to.
Now that we have it in the shape she's in, its time to start with the fun stuff - Satin black, super fat Shelby stripes, a 27" low profile (I think that's how wide it is) hood scoop, shave or relocate the GT emblems, and some airbrush work on the front quarters behind the wheels is coming up once the autumn show season is done. U/D pulleys need to be installed, and after that, there's not much left but to get it tuned and play dress up under the hood. It's on schedule to have a cat back system done next month - the original mufflers and pipes are bent a little from the accident and vibrate/rattle quite a bit. Gonna powder coat the wheels... I'll get some FOOSE Nitrous on it eventually, but the money I would spend on new wheels and tires could also get the paint job done, so, y'know. I gotta choose. LOL

Couple more, this time from the front!
The front bumper shroud isn't an EXACT match, but unless you're trained in body work or just have a sharp sharp eye for color, you can't tell its been wrecked. These newest pix are from the car show my car club had over the weekend....
