I was going through some pictures and found this...



I bought this car in December 1979 when I came back from serving two years in Germay in the U.S. Army . I remember the sticker was something like $10,600 but I got it for $7,100 because it was the end of the year and the dealership needed to get rid of it before the new year. For those of you who don't know it was the Indy Pace Car for 1979 and this car had a Turbo Charged 4 banger. Brings back some memories...

 

Wow I didn't know they made a 4 with a turbo. Great picture and thanks for sharing it. That was the year I graduated from High School. Were telling our age here.

Wow man that thing is deflty definition of old school Iam guessing you sold it. That mustang right is rare.

 

Man I love those old "Fox 4 eyed"....man in 79...Id be born 8 years later....haha....nice pic!
