Accidental Car Show Participant
Kinda funny story here. I have got some pics but can't find my cable for camera yet...
Went to a local Magic Mart today that is the site of a weekly summer cruise-in kinda thing. Just a local get together with generally about 30 cars. They don't do it in the winter.
So my wife and I are riding around in the '08 Vert and park and go into Magic Mart. When we come back out there is a 69 428 cobrajet parked next to me and a 70 429 Cobrajet parked next to him. Also there are several 30's and 40's pickups parked in the row ahead of me and a guy has roped off the parking lot and put up small "cruise in " signs.
So, unwittingly we have found ourselves smack in the middle of a car show. There were at the peak around 50 cars..it's just a come and go kinda thing.
Just a funny situation. Go into Magic Mart, come out and you are in a car show. I told my wife that that is why I always keep the car so clean. you never know when you will end up in a car show. Before today that line never would have worked..lol

Would have been even better if I had actually planned to be in it.
Still got lots of compliments and took a poll about the stripe. 95% say leave it-5%(including the wife) say keep it
THIS IS NOT MY CAR!!!! It is the only other new model Mustang to show up and is the AJ Foyt Edition. I had never even heard of it and started talking to the guy about it. Looked it up online. Damned nice car. Supercharged and all.

THIS IS NOT MY CAR!! I don't know who's it is but it is the only other late model Mustang at the show. I didn't know what it was at the time but it is the AJ Foyt "Coyote" edition. I looked it up and should have given the guy at least a little more respect, but to be honest I thought it was a custom.
