We are putting on this event again this year. Here is the list of events that will take place.

Friday September 7th - Cruise-in at Hardees: Come on by and visit some of our members and thier rides. It usually starts around 7PM until whenever. Correction ---- There is no cruiise this night.

Saturday September 8th - Riverfront Get Together: The members of the River City Cruisers will have a fish fry along with side dishes for whoever shows up starting at 7PM. Just bring your appetite and your choice of drink.

Sunday September 9th - Show In The Park: Last year we had almost 200 cars show up. We are hoping to break that record this year. There are 32 classes, door prizes, food etc. For those that are interested in tours of the wineries, there will be a bus transporting people to and from the wineries every 30 minutes. Registration is from 9:30-12:30.

If you would like to stay in the Hermann area the whole weekend or just over night, contact the Doll House Bed and Breakfast for a reduced rate of $65 a night, just mention the car show for the rate. The Doll House B&B is located on state route 94 in Rhineland. This is only 6 miles from the events. The number for the Doll House is 573-236-4558. Since I am a member of the car club that is putting on the show, I will not be able to display my car with everyone. Instead my car will be in the peoples vote. Stop on by, say hi and vote for me please.

Glad to hear that......the last count on the Corvette club coming from KC was 25. That is not including all the other local and St. Louis Corvettes.

 

Eek..Thats alot of Corvettes... We have a couple members (including our President) who have ponies that are "in the stable" and not road worthy right now. I believe we should have 10 for Moberly Motors show tomorrow and hope we can swing at least that for Hermann. Every little bit helps. We just need to cross our fingers that the weather is good...

BTW, I remember seeing you at the Machens Round up in June. My apologies for not introducing myself then...I was the 6th car from the front door on the side of the building that day. I will rememdy that on Sunday!

 

That would be great to have that many show up. I think the weather is going to cooperate with us. I didn't know Moberly Motors had a car show. Too bad I won't be able to get to that one sinceI have to work. I'll be looking forward to meeting you. I am not sure what I'll be doing at the car show yet but I bet they volunteer me for something.
