I'm moving to Indiana and my Dad tells me they don't do inspections here(I'm from NY). But he told me that right when you register your car they basically just check to see if the VIN is right and then register it, no emissions checks or anything. Basically I plan on getting an O/R exhaust soon...before I move since I've already had my last NY inspection. Will they check if I have the cats when I go to register?

 

Aslong as you don't live in Porter or Lake County then you will be fine do whatever you want to your car cause you are emission free!

 

Yes they check to make sure the title and vin on the car match and that should be it. You can do whatever mods you want to the car. I have a catless setup and never had any problems
