Just bought a 98 Mustang with a Cobra swap. The guy told me it was a 98 Cobra motor. So...im gonna do some mods. I get my parts and rigjt off i notice the throttle body is wrong. Can someone tell by just lopkong what year model this motor is?

 

Could you explain how the throttle body is wrong? It may be an after market TB but it looks correct to me. Its most likely a 98 SVT cobra engine. Its between 96-98. It still has the 2 coil packs. If it was any thing newer it would have COPs instead.
