Hold on! If you have all the "vague" things I mentioned, what's stopping you? You asked about swapping an ENGINE for another........why would internal parts differences even make it into the considerations? Cams, heads, bolt patterns, all come with the replacement engine; yes, computers need be considered, then of course, harness wiring, electrical connectors which do not match, along with different wire color codings, transmission fit and choice, .......maybe I didn't understand the OP. I will go back and re-read it.
