I am swapping a 1993 Mustang 5.0 4 speed auto trans. with a mass air flow meter. I do not have the old computer, or access to the Vin# I am trying to buy a computer but they tell me I either need the VIn# or original part#. Or if you have a computer available for my application. If some one has a 1993 Mustang with a mass air flow meter and 4 speed auto trans, can you let me use either use your part # on your ECM or your Vin # in order to get one. As well as some pictures under hood so I can see how the harness from the computer to all the connections under the hood are run? Any help would be much appreciated!

 

First, it would help to know for certain if the Mass Air Sensor you have is a 1993 original 5.0 HO part. If it is, PCMs for '93 automatics ought to be pretty common. Try one of the aftermarket stores like Auto Zone or O'Reilly. The subscript number on the computer which comes to mind is A9L.
