Default Engine swap...V6

Since my last post, I found two possible options... The first is just a 5.0 out of an 87 fox body, which it would be relatively simple to adapt for my usage.

The second option, and one I"m really interested by, is a guy's selling an 02 mustang that was wrecked. has the V6 in it with the manual tranny. Does anyone know whether this set up can be adapted to fit? I'm sure it'd take some work, but I just need to know that it can be done. :-) I'm particularly intrested cause I can get the entire (wrecked) car including engine and tranny for 600, and since I really want to get a manual tranny anyway, if I can mod that set up to fit, I would definitely not mind that, though the power out of the v6 obviously isn't gonna be quite as much as I could get out of a V8. Any ideas on this, or if anyone knows someone who's tried this, that'd be great. thanks

The OIL PAN is going to get you. I don't know if an oil pan exists for a use like that. You have to have the rear sump pan to clear the rack and pinion - no way around that!
