As to SVT being dead. Wrong. SVT IS alive and well. All SE cars will be made by SVT INCLUDING Shelby.

they are not dumping SVT, they have actually up'd manning in SVT and are talking about 5 total cars being produced soon, think there was an article on stangnet

Those were my thoughts as well. I just keep hearing people all over the SVT forums that they're dumping it. I saw the unveiling of the adrenaline, and the GT500...they didn't sound like they were about to shut down with 2 brand new vehicles.

if you can get the GT with 300 horse for 25,000 then i'd estimate the shelby at around 45,000. i can't see them hiking the price more than 20,000 for an extra 15o horse and some other doodads. you could buy a gt and build it yourself to whip the hell out of the shelby for the same price. the shelby is all about the name. if you buy one park it in your garage and in 40 years sell it for forty million dollars like the original gt 500s go for now.

ford is NOT dumping SVT. SVT is NOT gointg anywhere. Hau Tai-Ting just took over at SVT. the '07 Shelby GT500 IS being produced by SVT. caroll shelby is not even all that involved in the project. and i was right about the price they "estimate" 40-45K.

Can anyone tell me where else to get that video. Every time i play it, it runs for a few sec's then cuts out and restarts with just the sound. I tried other vid's on the edmunds.com ssite and they all did the same thing. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
