I was looking around and noticed this car, and... that nobody has talked about it.
This thing is incredible. Not only are you going to get better grip in the corners when both adjustable suspensions are set equally (this has a wing and the GT's weight which should mean 20% better handling), but it's running almost in the 10's with all that drag.
Besides styling, (which based on how other people have worked with Steeda before, they'd be willing to swap out for more attractive parts you order for a little extra), I can see no reason why anyone would ever buy a Super Snake as this is half the price, let alone a regular GT500.

Because the Super Snake looks a lot cooler and will have a much higher resale due to it being a limited edition Shelby.
I'd pick the Shelby if I could wing it.

2 words Caroll Shelby. His name is like the essence of Mustang and it's on the GT500 SS.... so yeah you pay double because someone "special" put something into it basically haha.

ok, announcement....LEGION 5 does his best to bash the GT500 any and every chance he can get.....LOL
now on to this modded GT at hand..first as someone else pointed out that price is in ADDITION TO the PRICE of a GT...so you have to supply the car and they will add those parts to it at that price....not a big fan of some of the styling mods...but definitely looks like a beast that has been built well. personally...not a big fan of it with exception to the HP....that is incredible...now to answer your question why would someone spend $46,800 (as I did) for a GT500 (Now you can even get them for $3,000 less from Ford with their new GT500 incentives on 2008) why would someone buy a gt500 over the steeda.well also see above..$$ $46k for gt500 in excess $70k for the car you posted above....speaking for myself...has little to do with just the shelby name...with exception of my family history of dad owning a gt350 and my son will get my gt500 in a few years...no I would buy the gt500 over the steeda because I like the look better....I like the 5.4 platform...(Albeit Steeeda using the 5.0 is really cool) there are more reasons that probably would only bore some and be difficult to grasp by others (not being rude, just stating that the shelby name has some importance to it) a little more important than steeda....(in my opinion) again it looks like a beast...but not for me....

+1....yes it is....that price does NOT include the mustang gt...so add 24-34k onto it....(dont know what gt premiums are going for these days and dont know if you can buy one used and they will do it...)

i would get a GT500 and swap blowers to the new whipple 2.9.

not interested in road racing, so i wouldn't need all that suspension work, or the styling, or the aerodynamics, plus i think the GT500 would be a better platform to work from.
