Default Production Numbers for Mustangs

I have searched Mustang resources in books and on the internet and have compiled these production numbers for the Ford Mustang from 1964 1/2 to current. These are not Official Ford numbers from Ford, but all are from reliable sources as far as I can tell.

I wanted to see how many Mustangs have been made since it's inception and found it fun and interesting to do this. Hope you all enjoy it. If any numbers are wrong, let me know as I want to keep my list as accurate as possible.

I also classified them by basic body design as I see it. Enjoy.

I believe most of your numbers, but as far a 2010 numbers are concerned where did you find your info? Up until now I had only seen around 25 2010 mustangs, 14 of which were at the dealership I purchased mine from! Some of the local dealerships had 1 to 4 cars total! Mine was the only stick shift of 14 at the dealer I bought from! I live in the D.C. Metropolitan area and would have expected to see more! To me it seems that since the 11 is here now I see the new body style everywhere! EXPLAIN

These figures come from this source. They are a year to date of July 2010. So I am assuming they are for 2010 models and as I revised the list to reflect that they are year to July 2010 date. Here is the link: http://www.mustangblog.com/blog/1048...gures-released

You mentioned you had seen only 25 2010 mustangs? There more than that at dealerships here in Portland. The 2010 and 2011 have the same body style.

I have a 2010...basically what I was trying to say was I am surprised that up until the release of the 2011's in the area I would have expected to have seen more. The 25 total cars I mentioned included the remaining cars at the dealership I bought mine from, I saw very few on the road. I honestly saw a handful on the road.

The only ones I do not see listed are the 2007-2008 Shelby GT's. But based on total special production numbers, my car is .9% of the specialty builds. Nice list btw.
