LS2 Corvette or 2013 5.0?
Hey guys ive been in the market for a new car and cant decide what to go with. My budget is around the mid 20k range and from what ive research they should cost about the same to maintain. The mustang will be cheaper to mod and its a newer car. The Corvette is more exotic in my opinion, but less practical. If yall can chime in and give me some more pros and cons it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I say go with 2013 5.0. You'll have more fun modding it. Nicely modified GT's get more attention than C6 Vettes. The only way I'll own a vette is if I could get my hands on a Z06 or ZL1. Just my opinion.

I went through something semi-similar...a couple years back, I was looking to spend a max of $15K and found I could get either a 2005-2006 GT, or an early 2000's Vette. I did actually consider the Vette for a bit, because I knew it would probably be the better "driver's car," but ultimately I decided against it because 1) it has no back seat whatsoever, 2) it has a tiny trunk, 3) a Vette seemed too "elitist" for me plus most Vette mods are stupid expensive.
Oh and also, since then I've sat in a Vette and they are very tight, glad I didn't go that route.

Being cliche about it, the Mustang will give you "The best bang for your buck".

If you wear a gold chain, and have slicked backed hair, get the Corvette....

There's a good chance the LS2 will have oil burn issues. But if you can live with no back seat, more expensive maintenance, CHEAP plastic everything, cramped engine bay, being so low it scrapes everywhere and the insurance will probably be higher....then yeah go ahead.
