Man, I watched it again and it still sends chills up my spine. I couldnt imagine that happening to me or anyone I know.

That's ignorance at it's best. I would never ever fathom racing with my GF in my car, I wouldn't even consider doing a wheelie with my GF on my bike. I love her far too much to put her life at risk.

I never wish harm on people, but it's really not fair that the guy didn't fall too. If that's his GF or friend, she's going to be trying to heal & doing everything she can to avoid having scars for life while he has a grand ol' time riding his bike and enjoying life. It looks like she landed really hard on her arms & head, I'm going to say it's safe she skinned her chin too. I was hoping that bastard would veer off the road and crash into the field when he noticed his bike was about 120lbs lighter.

Damn that had to hurt just a little. Everyday my wife and I talk about people wearing shorts and t-shirts on bikes...STUPID!!!
Anything can happen at any time.
I hope she whooped his a$$ after she grew some skin back.

damn, poor gal, I'd die if I had that much road rash on me, I know what it is like to have sores on your calves from riding horses too much, and thats just the first layer of skin, imagine what she went through, I know getting in water was like a thousand needles or someone peeling your skin off.... ouch.

 

Actually leathers didnt help this one guy at our track that much three weekends ago. His Hyabusa's rear tire locked up just before the 1320 mark. The bike was trapped sliding past the line at 133mph and he was trapped at 122mph. He had a patch of skin and tissue the size of my hand missing, two broken hands, four broken ribs and a lot of internal bleeding. He was in the hospital for two weeks. I dont think he'll be riding much more after an accident like that.

 

I would like to add that she let go! She didnt even try to hold on to him.

 

Man that was a face plant too. Too right it was a good thing she was wearing a helmet.

 

When joe rode me on his bike he jerked me back a few times. I had a problem of holding on tooooooo tightly. I was scared ****less. lol Whenever he sped up he would throw me backwards alittle. His butt never tried to do a wheelie....cause if he did, he knows his butt would be dead. Glad he got out of that phase.
