Sorry buddy. I have to disagree. I, myself have been around and around with SRT4's and have yet to let one beat me, track or street. I know a guy that was running drag slicks and stage two turbo on hos SRT4 and was just in the low 13's. If I had a good set of drag slicks I would be in the low 13's without the turbo! LOL

well maybe he is a idiot, but who cares he was having fun. also i wouldnt CALL HIM RICE. Speed has nothing to do with rice its all about the dumb exhaust and 15 ft wings and ground affects that look like the slow and sluggish cars. And also lets be fair on what we say cause i have seen some stupid burn outs on here waisting tires and drfifting videos of mustangs.So right now i hear some kettles calling the pot black.

Definitely not rice.
The SRT-4 is a good car, I don't know why everyone hates on them so hard. Its a turbo 4 that runs around the same time as a Mustang GT, what more do you want for $20,00? My brother owns a 2004 SRT-4 with the mopar exhaust and stage 2 upgrade and it is quick. If me and me brother raced from a dig I would take him but from a 55mph roll he might take me. I think they are almost as ugly as a regular neon but I can't say it isn't fast. The one thing I dislike about it is that it is fwd and doesn't launch all that great. But you aren't going to get AWD on a turbo 4 for $20,000. I am not asking you to like them or whatever but its not a bad car if you can get past it being a neon.
I don't see the harm in the trays but mudding it wasn't such a great idea.

Yeah I agree its a cool video. I guess guys with front wheel drive cars have to get the rear end loose some how.. 
The mud scene was pretty sweet, I wouldn't do that in my stang though.

Fastest STOCK srt4 I've seen at my track ran a 14.3 i believe...
Thought they were quicker than that
And I used to go up religiously every wednesday(street night)

Keep in mind that SRT-4's are not meant to be dragracing cars. No FWD car is. Even with 450 hp, you cannot do much to the 2.1 - 2.3 s 60' time, which hurt a lot. Comparing a RWD pony of muscle car's 1/4 time to the SRT4 is as ridiculous as and SRT-4 comparing gas mileage with you guys.
Yes, you can hit low 13's without turbo, but an SRT-4 owner can say "I would be in the low 13's without the need to add 4 extra spark plugs"
SRT-4 is not God, but please, let's not act like the ricer crowd. Give a car the respect it deserves. 13.9s from the factory with a GOOD driver (a crappy drive can made any car look bad), and 28 mpg with 4 doors practicallity should not be called "Rice".
