Of course he was stock, lol. But anyway, my mod list is below. My friend, who's a crazygood driver, ran a 13.9 @ 995880ft. That's unreal out there at Bandimere with my mods. I was able to run a 14.1@98mph@ best. I talked to the guy in good sportsmanship and he didn't believe me when I told him my car ran13.9. He said "Uhhh, no I saw him run a 14.2" and he had this look on his face like I was full of it. It's that LS1 mentality that we can mod our cars and still can't beat them unless we haveboost.It just feels good because they supposedly can't be beaten by a stang with my mods, so check it out Stangers and those considering adding 4.10's to your modding. They rock when you come out the box! For Any doubters, I two CTS-V kills last year too, so it's not a crock. Funny thing about all this, my friend owns a sweet 02 SS has the cams, heads, etc... He was very impressed with the timewith mods on the car. He had an 06 Stang, but had to let it go. Said he wished he still had it.

Well, a 14.1 there is roughly about a 12.9 @ sea level considering the D/A's are usually 7500+. My friends 13.9 would've been 12.7, wow. It's about right too because some guys have went to Kansas and run at sea level and got the second or so difference. The Conversion calculators I've seen will tell you that you'll run about 1.2 seconds slower @ 5880ft. Boosted or Juiced cars don't seem to suffer as much loss at the altitude, but they suffer too. My friendspullied Termie runs 13.0's on good runs, but averages about a 13.2 or 3. The C6 Z06's run 12's here. There's a guy here with a Kb'd 5.0 stroker Termie and has similar numbers as you do 800+ftlbs and 600+hp(altitude corrected numbers, BTW)with a lil spray, and he runs low 11's and high tens last time I saw him run.

 

Nice runs. I like to see an over-confident guy put in his place. Even when I'm in my Z, Im careful about racing stangs. You never know what they have under the hood.

My toughest race to date was with an old worn looking Fox body. The guy stayed even with me on the fwy from about 65 to 120mph..after that I walked him pretty hard. But at the track or from a dig, it could be anybody's race. And I'm pushing about 510rwhp.

 

Damn, 510 to the ground in a Vette? That thing don't run into too many stangs that can take it though.

Thats what I was thinkin when I saw that Fox. I was like "Ah time to give this a nice beating"...downshifted floored it and looked in my rearview but I couldn't him. I was like where did that guy go..

I looked to myright and he was right there!!!
