guess thats what they get for buying such a new car. no aftermarket.

 

ACTUALLY... I ran into a guy at a local car show that had one hooked up to his mustang LOL. He ran the wire through and had a power converter hooked up inside his car, this guy was a complete moron.. I actually couldn't believe what I was seeing.

 

A leaf blower could create boost pressure, so I guess its like a poor mans turbo.

 

i have read a ton of crap online about people who do this, and it works...


a friend of mine makes a living selling "echargers"..and the mustang kit is one of his most popular....

and with this part, no joke, someone wrote him back with dyno sheets and the Z34 monte gained 32hp...

i could see how this could lead to something acually performance related but right now its just stupid, the theory of it is just like a turbo just like stated above "a poor mans turbo".

 

for the price of that blower, I could probably get the same 10 HP gain that it gave.

 

you know the truck actually has a 4.3L engine which is equivelent to a 350 - 2 cylinders. so i can see why they are so powerful

 

I just cannot see how this could work. I can't see how the blower could add more horsepower than the leaf blower makes, and that isn't a 18 HP leaf blower.

I mean, you cannot create energy, thats one of the first things they teach ya in gradeschool science.
