Police in europe are crazy. They are issued a GSXR 1000, that bike has got 173hp, does the quarter mile in 10 seconds flat. 0-60 in 3 seconds. I was hoping so bad that, that cop would run out of gas. But thats awesome, ghostrider is a nut! what a great rider and driver, hes my idol. That cop gave up, he knew he wasnt going to catch him unless he ran out of gas. They got up to 230kph, thats like 143mph. I know they went faster than that but I couldnt see the speedo.

 

ghostrider is the KING of driving... wow. what a BEAST!

is he just one person or what? or is it like a team of drivers that switches off for videos etc?
b/c I have seen the ghostrider on a BIKES mainly... believe he was in a Corvette as well over in France or something.
and a LAmbo.

Yeah I think you are confused. The "police" rider was Ghostrider, the driver in the BMW was just some fast racing driver.

Again, I doubt police there are issued a Gixxer 1000, just Ghostrider. And seriously, I doubt that "undercover" part was real - why would they make Ghostrider a cop after all the **** he's done over the years?

 

ok guys i've actually seen the whole ghostrider DVD so here's how it went down. ghostrider modified his bike to look like a cop bike and got a police outfit. he was scheduled to race one of his buddys that happens to be a pro-racer and drives a tricked out Z3. he then started to follow his buddy with the fake police bike before they even got to the actual racing spot ...and then well you see what happens. ghostrider actually catches him later in the vid and they have a good laugh about the whole thing.

EDIT: Joey the video you are talking about is getaway from stockholm, it has nothing to do with the ghostrider series. people just tend to get them mixed up because one of ghostrider's runs was called getaway from stockholm.

 

what amazing drivers; i love seeing that coupe drift around corners and i love seeing that bike reel in the catch on the straight aways.
