Sorry if this has been talked about before...

I think it would be a great idea if we could bundle the states, maybe not all, but a lot of them. Many States are very active and some are very slow, like my state of Washington. I've seen lots of other forums with "bundled" states, like Northwest has Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Alaska.

I think its somthing worth while doing as it would bring more people together that are still generally in the same area. It would also help folks that are in thier section know whats going on in surrounding states, like meets, a good shop to go to, and general information as well. Without having to look at 3 or 4 different State Sections.

Just a thought, let me know what you all think!

I've asked repeatedly to bundle the New England states as one chapter, since they're smallish, we all tend to hang out at the same events, and only Massachusetts has an official chapter, which the guys from surrounding states participate in anyway. Haven't even managed to get a reply fron the Powers-That-Be...

 

Have you tried contacting one of the Moderators? The idea seems like a no brainer (no offence to those who made the forums). I see lots of states not mentioned in the section, yet I see many that are just a ghost town (like my states section), so I don't quite get how they justified making certain ones and not others. It just seems like it would help stir things up and get more activity going on in those sections if they did this.

Yes, PM'd several times, as well as opened a thread in the business area for chapter presidents. Have gotten zip back.

I'll be moving cross country in a few months, and will need to pass on the office to someone staying in the northeast. I guess they can take it on if they want at this point.

 

I'll be contacting a few mods/admins here within the hour. Maybe we could post polls in some of the more active sections of the Regional section and see how many would be for this? I think if there were solid numbers for who is for this maybe then the higher ups would look into doing this.

I would think bundling the states would also be a lot easier than to continue making several new state sections.

Oh wow haha, Thanks Young Gun, I have never even been that far down in the forums.

Since one is already made, then I feel it should be moved to a more appropriat part of the forums, such as next to the Regional section. I mean who would go any further than the Regional part and expect to find that section?

 

I just looked at this other section ( I was actually there when I first joined) and it's still not quite what I am looking for.

That section and the Regional section (single states) seem to be just seprate. Im really looking to just merge them together and not have a single section for say California and then at the bottom of the Forums have a bundled section with california, washington, oregon, alaska ect. It seems like that would just split up the activity, having two different parts. Hopefully you understand what I am saying (getting confused myself haha)
