Clutch/Flywheel question
I'm needing a new clutch as mine is slipping hardcore in 2nd-throughout. I was looking into getting a spec stg 2.
My question is should I get a flywheel also? I was told that I can just have my flywheel resurfaced and it will be fine. Flywheels are a bit o' money and wanted to avoid having to buy one for now if possible. I have a friend that told me buying a new flywheel is unnecessary. All that really matters is the pressure plate.
Any thoughts/opinions on what I should do?

i went spec stage 3, its a little more aggressive and unforgiving as the stage 2 but holds like no other... it chatters a little but not really so noticeable as other people told me before i bought it.. i LOVE the spec, ive seen a couple centerforces grenade after 6k so i went spec. your stock flywheel should be straight to reuse, might wanna find a machine shop around there and get it re ground... i recomend hitting steeda up and gettin their quadrant and either the cable or firewall adjuster tho...
Wow, I posted this completely in the wrong section. The thread was meant for the 4.6 discussion. Lol, oh well. So I was also looking into mmr's clutches. I've never heard of anyone buying one. Also looking at spec stg 2, but didn't know if I should go with a 2+ if I plan on building the bottom end for H/C/I and more boost. I'll just have my flywheel resurfaced if that's the case.
just got stage 3 then if your doing more motor work down the road.. why buy two clutches instead of one beafy enough to handle it all. i went stage 3 cuz its good for like 700ft/lbs.. its gonna suffice all my needs when i start buildin my next motor!
