OK, I'm new here. But, HOPEFULLY someone can answer this question. I've ordered an ' 06 GT Coupe, 5 speed stick, 17" wheels, IUP, torch red w/red interior. My dealer told me yesterday....."they're gonna build it", but he coudn't give me a build date, but, said "it should be here by the end of April."
Is this correct, or do I need to stay calm ???????

 

That's the way it is with these cars right now bud. Ford can't build them as fast as they are selling them. Especially the GT.

No worries. It will be along as soon as they can get it to you.

my 05 gt took about three months, i was even thinking of cancelling the
order but whe i least spected i recieve a call form the the ford dealear, and to
be honest the whait was worth every second of it.

 

That's how I got mine right away.

It was weird man. Sorta like kharma or something.

I told the salesman that I wanted to order a loaded black on black '06 GT with a stick and he says "you're not going to believe this, but I have one coming in today. The car arrived on the transport just as he was saying this.

A dude had ordered the exact car that I was going to order about six months before I decided to trade in my '03 and he got tired of waiting so he cancelled the order but the dealership took delivery of the car anyway.

I bought it later that day.

 

Talk about outstanding luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you have to pay a premium for same day delivery ?

 

no, I didn't pick it up until the next afternoon. They still had to PDI it. I just made the deal right there.
